CareApp Founder and CEO, Allison Nikula has taken out a double win at the South Australian InDaily 40 Under 40 awards – celebrating South Australia’s young business leaders and entrepreneurs.
From over 640 referrals and 230 applications, Allison was named as one of 40 young business leaders at a celebration attended by more than 350 people on the 10th June at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Allison then went on to win the Inspiring Disruptor Award presented by OTR, a testament to her vision, dedication in changing the narrative in aged care and to supporting a future where ageing is celebrated.
When asked what this award means to her, Allison said “Whilst it is my name on this award, it is really an award for all of us that shared the same unwavering belief that every Australian deserves a beautiful care experience.”
Originally starting in Allison’s kitchen with nothing more than a piece of paper and pencil there are now nearly 30,000 people connected by CareApp facilitating over 1.5 million engagements on the platform.
